Abstract
Sociolinguistics is a branch of linguistics that studies the relationship between language and society. Due to the large variety of languages, humans can mix languages by using more than one language or bilingual in their pronunciation. Mixing one language with another in sociolinguistics is called code mixing. Code mixing also occurs with YouTubers from Australia who live in the city of Surabaya, namely Londo Kampung. The purpose of this study aims to classify and describe the phenomenom of code mixing, especially the types and levels that occur in the Londo Kampung youtube video. The method used is a qualitative descriptive design. The data source used was the Londo Kampung youtube video, while the data used were words and sentences that were indicated as mixed codes. To collect data, the researcher used the documentation method, namely downloading videos from Youtube, writing a transcript of the video, selecting words and sentences indicated by code mixing, then analyzing the data that had been collected. To analyze the results of the data obtained, the researcher used a type analysis of Hoffman's (1991) code-mixing theory and Suwito's (1983) code-mixing level theory. Furthermore, the calculation of the percentage of type and level of code mix uses the formula from Sudijono (2011). The results obtained from video analysis, obtained 119 data indicated mixed code. In the mixing code type, Intra-Sentential is the most dominant type with a percentage of 99.16%, Intra-Lexical is 0.84%, and the lowest type is a change in pronunciation. At the mixed code level, the most dominant level was the word level of 35.30%, the phrase level was 31.93%, the clause level was 28.57%, the repetition of words and the idiom level were at the same level of 1.68%, the baster was the lowest level of 0.84% which happened in the Londo Kampung youtube video.
