Abstract

Vehicle Loans is a financing product from financial institutions that is in great demand by the public. PT. Sharia Pegadaian also has this financing that is packaged in Amanah products, in addition to the ease of purchasing a vehicle it also helps the community meet personal needs or as entrepreneurial capital. However, from the financing, not a few customers (RahĪn) failed their promises (default) to the final stage to pay off their obligations by executing collateral. However, the collateral that has been executed is not complete / replaced with a copy and / or has changed hands. The purpose of this research is to know the implementation of the execution of the trustworthy product guarantee along with the obstacles faced and the solutions taken by PT. Sharia Pegadaian addresses customers who fail their promises. This research is a field research with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection use interviews and documentation. Data analysis use deductive method. The results of the analysis reveal that the execution of trustworthy product guarantees at PT. Pegadaian Syariah are in accordance with Law No. 42 of 1999, Fatwa DSN MUI No. 17 / DSN-MUI / III / 2002 and Fatwa DSN MUI No. 25 / DSN-MUI / III / 2000 contained in the Akad Rahn Tasjily Pegadaian Amanah agreed by RahĪn and Murtahin.
