Abstract
This study aims to describe the improvement of learning achievement in economic learning and to describe the improvement of learning achievement through Problem Based Learning (PBL) (PBL) model in grade X students of Tutoring (BIMBEL) in the village of Paron SubDistrict Ngawi. This type of research is a class action study conducted in two stages of the cycle. The subjects in this study were 12 students in grade X tutoring. Data collection methods used are observations, tests, field notes, and documents. The results showed that students' learning achievements in economic subjects increased. Prior to the action, the complete student economic learning results by 16.67%, in the first cycle of complete student economic learning results increased to 75%, in the second cycle the results of economic learning increased to 91.67%. Based on the data from the research, it can be concluded that Problem Based Learning (PBL) model can improve economic learning achievement of grade X students tutoring in Gentong Village, Paron Ngawi SubDistrict.
