Abstract

Boyolali, Solo and Karnganyar experienced significant ups and downs but interestingly, Boyolali, Solo and Karanganyar Regencies were not inferior to other regencies in Central Java both in terms of infrastructure, services and in terms of natural resources. Besides Boyolali Regency has the advantage of geographical location because it is located in the highlands so that existing natural resources if used properly will help the economic growth of Boyolali Regency. Whereas in the Surakarta regency, the manufacturing and tourism industries are developing rapidly so that there are many changes in land use for industrial activities and housing. This study intends to find out the base and non-base sectors of Boyolali, Solo and Karnganyar Regencies in 2015-2018 which have the potential to support economic growth in Central Java, the sectoral growth rate and sectoral contributions as well as the economic growth patterns of Boyolali, Surakarta and Karnganyar Regencies 2015-2018. from that the researcher took the title "Analysis of Leading Sector and Potential Sectors in Boyolali, Surakarta and Karangnyar in 2015-2018". The analytical method used is the Location Quotients (LQ) analysis method to analyze which sectors are the basis and non-base sectors, shift share to analyze potential sectors to be developed and Klassen Typology (Klassen Typology) to analyze growth and contribution rates and analyze patterns and structure of regional growth areas.
