Abstract

Tourism is a form of effort to increase regional potential and drive the regional economy. Through tourism with the principle of ecotourism, which involves the role of the local community in the tourism process, it is hoped that it will be able to provide awareness for the community to protect and care for the environment and provide an increase in the welfare of the local community and an increase in Village Original Income (PAD). Brebes Regency is a district that has the largest area in Central Java and has quite a lot of regional potential, but the development of tourism in Brebes Regency is quite slow. Judging from the number of tourists visiting Brebes Regency is relatively small and the tourism infrastructure is inadequate. Increasing tourism in Brebes Regency can be done through the development of a Tourism Village. One of the villages that has the potential to be developed into a tourist village is Pangebatan Village, Bantarkawung District, Brebes. Lukman Hakim as the head of Pangebatan Village proposed Pangebatan as a tourist village by developing existing natural potential. Planning a tourism village requires the fulfillment of criteria, namely: attractions / attractions, accommodation and access. However, Pangebatan Village has not met all the criteria to be a tourist village, namely the unavailability of accommodation. For this reason, a master plan for the Pangebatan Nature Tourism Village master plan is required with an emphasis on lodging planning with ecological principles located in Dukuh Kidul, Pangebatan. The development of the Pangebatan Nature Tourism Village is expected to be able to drive the village economy and through ecological principles it is hoped that it can maintain and improve the natural sustainability in Pangebatan Village.
