Abstract

This study aims to describe : 1) the understanding of SDN Merak 2 teachers regarding the assesment in the 2013 curriculum, 2) the obstacles faced by teachers in implementing the 2013 curriculum assesments at SDN Merak 2, 3) the solution to the obstacles faced by teachers at SDN Merak 2 in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum assesment. This research is a qualitative research. The data collecting technique used were obseravation, interview and documentation. The informants in this study were the principal and class teachers. The validity of the data was obtained through technical triangulation and source triangulation. The data analysis technique used was data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. This research was conducted at SDN Merak 2. The results showed that: 1) curriculum assessment 2013 is a benchmarking process by teachers to students to determine the level of student success. The assessment carried out includes the assessment of attitudes, knowledge and skills contained in the type of authentic assessment which is the type of assessment carried out by grade 1 and grade 4 teachers at SDN Merak 2, 2) the obstacles in implementing the 2013 curriculum assessment faced by teachers are almost the same, namely in making questions and the development of teaching materials, 3) solutions to the obstacles faced by teachers in implementing the 2013 curriculum assessment, namely by sharing among teachers, self-study and developing teacher competence independently. The principal also conducts activities in the form of teacher supervision.
