Abstract
Introduction: Over nutrition problems that occur in school age children are serious problems that can increase the risk of several chronic diseases. The national prevalence based on 2013 Riskesdas data can be seen that the prevalence of overnutrition in adolescents 16-18 years is 7.3% consisting of 5.7% over nutrition and 1.6% obesity, this result is much higher than in 2010 which was only 1.4% of adolescents are overweight. Nutritional status by several factors, one of which is physical activity. Physical activity is important in expending energy so that it can prevent the prevention of over nutrition, namely by using energy for the physical activity itself. Excess nutritional intake and not balanced with balanced energy expenditure or lack of physical activity will lead to weight gain, excess energy and can increase the risk of obesity and obesity. Research Objectives: This literature review aims to examine the relationship between physical activity and nutritional status in teenager. Research Methods: A literature study using the method of collecting data in the form of research journals in the last years, journal publishers with the provisions of Sinta Accreditation 1 to 4 with database searches conducted at sinta.ristekbrin.go.id, using the keywords physical activity, nutritional status, and adolescence. Results: The results of the study in 5 journals were obtained from the low level of physical activity among adolescents due to their sedentary lifestyle. Over nutritional status or obesity is more likely to have a low level of physical activity than a moderate or normal level of physical activity. Conclusion: Physical activity can be put aside, which has a higher risk of obesity. So it is expected that adolescents will increase their physical activity from mild to moderate to get energy and reduce the risk of obesity
