Abstract

The expectation of Curriculum 2013 being applied, among others, is students able to thinking critically. Students’ ability to do critical thinking related to High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) which can be reviewed from student academic performance. One way to evaluate student academic performance which teacher used is test, e.g., odd semester final examination. The purpose of this research is to determine odd semester final examination of Biology class X MAS PPMI Assalam 2018/2019 academic year profile based on HOTS perspective. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection being done by using documentation method. The result showed that the portion percentage of questions in odd semester final examination test of Biology class X MAS PPMI Assalam 2018/2019 academic year which fall into cognitive process dimension of LOTS category is 88.88% (very high) and 11.12% (very low) for HOTS. Based on those result, the odd semester final examination of Biology class X MAS PPMI Assalam 2018/2019 academic year profile classified as very low on HOTS.
