Abstract
Toll roads functioning namely smoothing inter-regional traffic, improving goods and services distribution services, and others. On the toll roads there are supporting facilities, one of which is the rest area. Most of the services rest area are located in a building where the construction of the building cannot be separated from the main supporting structure, namely the foundation. Rest area KM. 456 The Semarang-Solo Toll Road consists of two opposite buildings, namely KM. 456A and KM. 456B. In this research, it is focused on planning the foundation of the B rest area building using a pile foundation with a diameter of 0.3m, 0.4m, and 0.5m. This study aims to analyze the existing soil data, determine the structural load received by the foundation, determine the number of piles required to withstand the maximum load, designing reinforcement of pile cap and pile. Based on the results of the cone penetration test, it can be concluded that the soil condition is layered soil so that in planning the pile foundation the method is used Meyerhof for granular soil layers, and the methods deRuiter and Beringen for cohesive soil. From the result of the structural loading analysis, it is known that the largest axial load value of the structure is 745.1581 kN. The value of the bearing capacity of a single pile with a diameter of 0.3m is 254,052 kN, a diameter of 0.4m is 432,894 kN, and for a diameter of 0.5m is 528,436 kN. While the bearing capacity of the pile group with a diameter of 0.3m, the results are 1012,574 kN, a diameter of 0.4m is 864,241 kN, and a diameter of 0.5 m is 1054,982 kN. The number of piles required to support the maximum load on piles with a diameter of 0.3m, 0.4m, and 0.5m are 4 piles, 2 piles and 2 piles, respectively. The required longitudinal reinforcement for piles is 5-D16 for piles with a diameter of 0.3m, 7-D16 for piles with a diameter of 0.4m, and 9-D16 for piles with a diameter of 0.5m, while spiral reinforcement is Ø13-25 for piles with a diameter of 0.3m , Ø13-40 for 0.4m diameter piles and Ø13-35 for 0.5m diameter piles. The need for reinforcement pile cap in the 'x' direction and 'y' direction is the same, for piles with a diameter of 0.3m it needs basic reinforcement for D16-130 and divide reinforcement D13-130, for piles with a diameter of 0.4m it needs basic reinforcement for D16-100 and divide reinforcement for D13 -100, while the 0.5m diameter pile requires the basic reinforcement for D16-90 and divide reinforcement for D13-90.
