Abstract

The denser settlements make the construction area narrower, making maximizing land and vertical construction a solution. Over time, modernization is prioritized in construction. The availability of assistive programs in assisting the planning process makes the results obtained are maximized. In both the geotechnical field, soil stability planning and retaining wall planning are increasingly efficient in planning. The use of the Geo5 program in this case uses land data from the Bengawan Malang Apartment Project, Jl. Raya Tlogomas No.1, Tlogomas, Kec. Lowokwaru, Malang City, East Java. This plan is a retaining wall plan with the type of Corrugated Concrete Sheet Pile or can be called a concrete sheet pile. The sheet pile is designed using an anchor at a depth of 2 m. Analysis of the stability of the excavated soil against landslides and supported by sheet pile planning with a safe depth using the Rankine method to support excavation as deep as 10 meters. Using soil parameters at a depth of 0.0-10.0 meters, soil volume weight (γ) 17.85 KN / m3; cohesion (c) 11.77 KN / m2; Specific gravity (Gs) 2.66; inner friction angle (φ) 14 ͦ. At a depth of 10.0 - 40.0 meters, the weight of the soil volume (γ) 18.24 KN / m3; cohesion (c) 0 KN / m2; Specific gravity (Gs) 2.45; inner friction angle (φ) 28 ͦ; saturated soil volume weight (γsat) 20.74 KN / m2, with groundwater level at a depth of 12.7 meters. The method of calculation is done by checking the stability of the landslide and calculating the safe mounting depth manually and with the Geo5 auxiliary program. The calculation resulted in the excavation safety factor against landslides 0.628 <1.5 (unsafe), manual piling depth 5.160 m, depth of piling with Geo5 5.160 m, a total length of sheet pile manually 15.191, total sheet length with Geo5 15.160 m. The sheet is designed with a thickness of 500 mm with a flat rectangular shape with a concrete quality of 30 MPa. Anchor at a depth of 2 m, the length of the anchor is 30 m using 10 cm diameter steel, supported by an anchor board 2.5 m high and 5 cm thick. The difference is the difference between the results of manual calculations and the results of the Geo5 program, due to differential equations in calculating lateral ground pressure. Rankine is used in manual calculations and Geo5 uses a modified Rankine formula, namely The Mazindrani Theory.
