Abstract
Extracurricular becomes one of obligatory agenda which must be exist at schools, moreover for the school which has an islamic basic, it has to provide an extracurricular heads to support the students for being able to recite the Quran correctly. Some people also asume that extracurricular is the way to evolve their hobbies. For school, creating graduates who is able to recite the Holy Quran correctly is proud achievement. Muhammadiyah junior high school 1 of Surakarta has a program named MMA Extracurricular which aim at creating graduates who is able to read, write, and memorize the Quran correctly. This research has problem formulation in how to implement MMA extracurricular program and what is the supporting and resistance element of MMA extracurricular program. The purpose of this research is to represent the enforcement of MMA extracurricular program in intensifying and identifying the students interest of reciting holy Quran in Muhammadiyah junior high school 1 of Surakarta. The type of this research is field research with quantitative approach. From the research we can conclude that the MMA extracurricular program is implemented on Wednesday at 14.00 - 15. 15 And taking place in each classes depending on the students level. The Applied method of this agenda is iqro'. Next, for the supporting element of MMA extracurricular program enforcement is external motivation that is the support of the teachers and parents. The resistance element of MMA extracurricular program enforcement is the weakness of students self motivation, laziness, lack of concentration in the class. and teachers or students are not yet disciplined
