Abstract
Eka Mufidah Aryanti/A210160312. SOFT SKILL COMPETENCY IN TERMS OF ACHIEVEMENT MOTIVATION AND LEARNING CREATIVITY IN CLASS X ACCOUNTING STUDENTS OF SMK NEGERI 1 PEDAN KLATEN. Essay. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah Surakarta University. August, 2020. The purposes of this study are to determine: 1) The relationship of achievement motivation to the soft skills competency in class X Accounting students of SMK Negeri 1 Pedan Klaten, 2) The relationship of learning creativity to the soft skills competency in class X Accounting students of SMK Negeri 1 Pedan Klaten, 3) The relationship of achievement motivation and learning creativity to the soft skills competency in class X Accounting students of SMK Negeri 1 Pedan Klaten. This research is an associative quantitative research, with the total populations of 96 students. The sampling collection of the 72 students used a simple random sampling technique. Data are obtained by using questionnaire and documentation techniques. Data analysis is conducted with multiple regression technique, t-test, F-test, determination coefficient test ( R^2), relative contribution and effective contribution. The multiple linier regression analysis results obtained the regression equation Y= 39,864 + 0,246 X_1 + 0,162 X_2. The conclusions in this research are: Achievement motivation has an influence to the soft skills competency of students in class X Accounting students of SMK Negeri 1 Pedan Klaten. Learning creativity has an influence to the soft skills competency of students in class X Accounting students of SMK Negeri 1 Pedan Klaten. Achievement motivation and learning creativity have an influence to the soft skills competency of students in class X Accounting students of SMK Negeri 1 Pedan Klaten, with the determination coefficient (R^2) of 0,106 or 10,6% while the rest is contributed by other variables. The implication of research results: students that have high achievement motivation and good learning creativity, their soft skills competence will certainly increase.
