Abstract
This study aims to determine how the implementation of full day school policies on learning activities of XI IPS students at MAN 1 Surakarta. The research method is qualitative research, the research design is descriptive analytic. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, documentation while the validity of the data in this study using triangulation techniques. Then, the data analysis technique in this study used interactive analysis including data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the implementation of the full day school policy in MAN 1 Surakarta has been running well, this is indicated by improving students' abilities and skills as well as the existence of effective communication during classroom learning. The inhibiting factors for the full day school policy towards the learning activities of class XI IPS in MAN Surakarta, namely in terms of student readiness there are those who are not ready to implement it by increasing school hours used for enrichment of teaching materials delivered with creative and fun learning methods to add insight and deepening knowledge, completing assignments with teacher guidance, mentoring mental, mental and moral children. The supporting factor is the availability of adequate facilities such as the internet, making it easy to access the internet via a computer.. Keywords: full day school policy and learning activities
