Abstract

The purpose of this research: 1) The effect of learning discipline on learning outcomes of economic subjects in class X SMA Negeri 1 Cepogo. 2) The effect of activeness on learning outcomes of economic subjects in class X SMA Negeri 1 Cepogo. 3) The effect of discipline and learning activeness on learning outcomes of economic subjects in class X SMA Negeri 1 Cepogo. The population of this research was IPS class X at SMA Negeri 1 Cepogo with 106 respondents. Sampling as many as 68 respondents using simple random sampling technique. The research data is obtained by distributing requestionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test, R2 test and effective contribution and relative contribution. The results of multiple linear regression analysis obtained by the regression line equation: Y = 6.272 + 0.817 X1 + 0.850 X2. The conclusions of this research are: 1) Discipline has a positive and significant effect on students learning outcomes. This is evident from the t test obtained by tcount> ttable, is 3.354> 1.997 and significant <0.05, is 0.001 with an effective contribution of 14.2% and a relative contribution of 63%. 2) Activeness of learning has a positive and significant effect on students learning outcomes. This is evident from the t test obtained tcount> ttable, is 2.494> 1.997 and significant <0.05, is 0.015 with an effective contribution of 8.4% and a relative contribution of 37%. 3) Discipline and activeness of learning have a positive and significant effect on learning outcomes. This is evident from the F test obtained Fcount> Ftable is 9.489> 3.14 and a significant value <0.05 is 0,000 and the coefficient of determination is 0.226 or 22.6% while the remaining 77.4% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
