Abstract
Language ability, especially the ability to master Arabic vocabulary, is a very important skill to master, especially in early childhood. Language learning for early childhood is expected to be taught through more interesting activities, one of which is singing. Because basically, early childhood are more likely to be interested in activities that are fun in their educational process. The purpose of this article is to examine the literature, articles and research documents that identify methods of singing in improving Arabic vocabulary mastery of children aged 5-6 2 years. The method in the study used a reference literature review in the form of primary articles of approximately 20 articles 6 national journals with a period of the last 5 years and 14 international journals with a period of 7 years which are quality, accredited and reputable. Samples are research journals with the topic of the singing method or the mastery of Arabic vocabulary for children in learning according to the criteria of the selected journals: 1) the respondents are early childhood; 2) the independent variable is the singing method and the dependent variable is Arabic vocabulary; 3) the treatment given is the effect of learning to sing or a learning activity that is able to improve the Arabic vocabulary mastery of early childhood; 4) The treatment given is a singing method or a learning activity that is able to improve the development of Arabic vocabulary for early childhood. The results and discussion show that the singing method can not only improve Arabic vocabulary mastery but also improve verbal-linguistic intelligence, object clarification skills, language development, and the ability to remember letters. Meanwhile, Arabic vocabulary is not only influenced by the singing method but can be improved through the verbalization drilling method, song poetry, and image media. The conclusion is that the fun singing method can significantly increase the mastery of Arabic vocabulary for children aged 5-6 years, not only that, but the singing method of children aged 5-6 years can also be influenced by the methods and game models used to stimulate children's Arabic vocabulary mastery.
