Abstract

Sengon wood charcoal is the main ingredient of this research, sengon wood charcoal was mashed using the HEBM method or the High Energy Ball Milling shaker model. Characterization was carried out by testing PSA, SEM and EDX. The collision cycle used is 2 million cycles, with a rotational speed of 900 rpm using a 1⁄4 inch steel ball. The pounder tube is made of stainless steel, measuring 2 inches and a length of 120 mm. then carried out the further heating process. This process is carried out to reduce the water content contained in the sengon wood charcoal particles. From the evaluation of the SEM photo test results, it can be seen that the shape of the spherical sengon wood charcoal particles is imperfect and the chemical composition that dominates is carbon. From the test results, it was found that the average size of the sengon wood charcoal particles was 666.6 nm. While the SEM photo results can be seen the shape of each irregular particle. For the composition contained in the sengon wood charcoal particles, it is dominated by carbon elements which show a percentage of 90.74% Keywords: Nanoparticles, cycle, sengon wood charco, PSA, SEM EDX
