Abstract
Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut : (a) mendeskripsikan struktur yang membangun novel Si Anak Badai karya Tere Liye, (b) mendeskripsikan nilai motivasi dalam novel Si Anak Badai karya Tere Liye, (c) menganalisis tanggapan siswa mengenai nilai motivasi dalam novel Si Anak Badai karya Tere Liye. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif, meliputi deskripsi unsur intrinsik, nilai – nilai motivasi, serta tanggapan siswa mengenai nilai motivasi dalam novel tersebut sesuai data yang ada. Data penelitian berupa kata-kata, kalimat, maupun kutipan dialog inspiratif yang terdapat dalam novel dan sumber data penelitian ini ialah novel Si Anak Badai karya Tere Liye beserta tanggapan siswa mengenai nilai motivasi didalamnya. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik pustaka dan kuesioner. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengunakan analisis isi (content analysis) dimulai dari tahap menganalisis struktur, mendeskripsikan nilai motivasi, menganalisis tanggapan siswa mengenai nilai motivasi dalam novel, serta menyimpulkan hasil analisis sesuai rumusan masalah yang diteliti. Penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi data, peneliti, dan teori. Triangulasi data dilakukan dengan melakukan data sejenis dari sumber data yang tersedia dengan meminta bantuan Pembimbing untuk memeriksa hal ihwal penelitian ini. Selanjutnya, triangulasi teori dengan membaca teori – teori yang relevan sesuai dengan data yang dibutuhkan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah nilai motivasi dalam novel yang meliputi nilai motivasi dinamis berupa ;(1) berani dan percaya diri, (2) bertanggung jawab, (3) membalas kejahatan dengan kebaikan sedangkan nilai motivasi dinamis yakni,(1) pantang menyerah, (2)menghargai orang lain (3) memaafkan dan belajar dari kesalahan (4) pengertian (5) kasih saying seorang ibu, (6) persahabatan. Kata Kunci : Resepsi Siswa, Nilai Motivasi, Si Anak Badai. Abstract The objectives of this study are as follows: (a) designing the structure describing the novel The Children of the Storm by Tere Liye, (b) describing academic values in the novel The Children of the Storm by Tere Liye, (c) analyzing students' responses to the exchange rates in the novel Si Siadai Tere Liye's Child of the Storm. This type of research is descriptive qualitative, non-intrinsic description description, motivational values, and student responses about the value of motivation in the novel in accordance with existing data. The research data consisted of words, sentences, dialogue quotations, inspirations contained in the novel, and the source of this research data was the novel Si Anak Badai by Tere Liye. Data collection using library and questionnaire techniques. Data analysis in this study was carried out using content analysis (content analysis) starting from structural analysis, describing the value of motivation, analyzing student responses regarding the value of motivation in the novel, and analyzing the results of the analysis according to the formulation of the problem discussed. This research uses data triangulation, researchers, and theory. Data triangulation is done by doing similar data from available data sources by asking the assistance of the Supervisor to allow the subject of this research. Next, triangulate the theory by reading relevant theories according to the data needed in this study. The results of this study are the value of motivation in the novel which includes dynamic motivational values in the form of: (1) brave and confident, (2) responsible, (3) repaying evil with good while the value of dynamic motivation namely, (1) never giving up, ( 2) respect for others (3) forgive and learn from mistakes (4) understanding (5) love of a mother, (6) friendship.
