Abstract

High order thinking skill abilities are defined as widespread use of mind to discover new challenges. High order thinking is thinking at a higher level than just memorizing facts. When students are used to thinking or doing something with a more difficult level, it will form the ability to complete the literature as well as difficult enough. The purpose of this research is to determine the comparative high order thinking skills of elementary school students in Indonesia and Thailand 2018/2019. This research is a type of quantitative descriptive research by describing and researching quantitative data using HOTS instruments to compare students high order thinking skills. Test data analysis using normality testing, homogenity test and independent T test. The results showed that the Independent sample test T test is known that the value of Sig. 0,896 > 0.05, Then as the basis of decision making in sample test T test can be concluded that H0 rejected and Ha received which means there is a difference in the ability of high-level thinking students of Indonesian and Thai elementary school year 2018/2019 in working on the high order thinking test on the subject of science.
