Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of career development and training on employee performance through job satisfaction as an intervening variable at PT. Bank BRI Karanganyar Branch Unit Office. The sample used in this study there were 50 employees working in 6 office units in karanganyar PT. Bank BRI using a questionnaire to collect data. Researchers conducted research with updates on the title and place as well as the analytical methods used, had never been done before. The sampling technique is Convinience Sampling, which is based on the availability of elements and ease of getting it. Data analysis techniques use validity and reliability, classic assumption tests use multicollinearity tests, hypothesis testing uses SEM (structural equation modeling). The results of this study indicate that career development variables have a significant effect on job satisfaction and employee performance. Then the Training variable has a significant effect on job satisfaction but does not significantly influence employee performance. Job satisfaction variable also has a significant effect on employee 2 performance. Career development has a significant indirect effect on employee performance through job satisfaction. And the training variable is not significant indirectly on performance through job satisfaction.
