Abstract

The issues raised in this study are (1) what is the form of maximal deviation in the principle of cooperation in the film Warkop DKI Reborn part: 2?, (2) The category of maximal deviations in the principle of cooperation in Warkop DKI Reborn part: 2?. (3) what is the strategy of utterance deviations in the maxim of cooperation in the film Warkop DKI Reborn Part: 2?. The objectives of the study (1) describe the form of deviation of the maxim of the principle of cooperation in the principle of Warkop film DKI Reborn part: 2, (2) describe the category of maxim deviations in the principle of cooperation in Warkop DKI Reborn part: 2 (3) describes how the speech strategy in the film Warkop DKI Reborn part: 2. This type of research uses a qualitative approach. The research design focuses on content analysis techniques. Data validity was tested by source triangulation technique. Data analysis techniques using the intralingual equivalent method. The findings show that the joke data which arises from the use of pragmatic aspects in the film Reborn part: 2 DKI Reborn includes four maxims. Most deviations occur in quality maxims, then deviations in maxim ways, and maximum quantity and relevance deviations are the same. The category of deviation from the maxims of cooperation principle is based on the topic being skipped, pragmatic parameters, and prank techniques. Speech strategy consists of direct speech acts, and indirect speech acts that intend to influence the mind of the audience with a variety of assumptions.
