Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of internal and external-based social capital on organizational performance mediated by human capital variables in Tirta Makmur Regional Water Company (PDAM) Sukoharjo Regency. The population in this study were employees of PDAM Tirta Makmur, Sukoharjo Regency, the sample used was 100 respondents. The sampling method in this study with non probability sampling uses saturated sample technique. The research method used is a quantitative method. The analytical method used is Path Analysis. The results showed that there was an influence (1) significant internal and external-based social capital on organizational performance; (2) significant internal social capital on human capital; (3) significant external social capital on human capital; (4) significant human capital on organizational performance;(5) significant internal social capital on organizational performance mediated by human capital; (6) external social capital on organizational performance is mediated by human capital.
