Abstract

The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method namely research carrie out basad on descriptive facts, namely research carried out based on fact and phenomena and empirically living on its speakers. Using data analysis techiques, namely note taking, recording all repeated words in writing tajuk rencana tehe December edition of Suara Merdeka newspaper 2019. The results of the study are (1) the reduplication process in the December edition of Suara Merdeka newspaper 2019 the are three namely, (a) whole repetitio, (b) multiple repetitions, (c) repetition combined whit the eddition of affixes. In data analysis, namy find the form used in writing because of the form of submission in a newspaper or newspaper rubric. (2) The meaning of repetition or reduplication found in the Suara Merdeka newspaper December 2019 edition is numerous, repetitive, uncountable, seriuos, somewhat. (3) implications of reduplication research results in the December 2019 edition of Suara Merdeka newspaper with Indonesian langguage learning in SMP namely Core Competencies and Basic Competance 4.3.
