Abstract

The quality of academic services is a comparison between academic services felt by students and the quality of academic services expected by students. Quality of service has a big effect on student satisfaction in various aspects. The essence of student satisfaction depends on the quality of teaching and learning environment at the institution as demand for students who meet the requirements, learning and faculty experience for their academic and professional development. This study aims to determine how much satisfaction is felt by students of the academic services of the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta based on aspects of manifestation, confidence, empathy, responsiveness, and trust. This research is a descriptive study with a quantitative approach. The sample in this study were semester 1 to 7 students with a total population of 749 students by determining the sample using probability sampling and a total sample of 88 students was obtained. Student data is collected using the Google form which is distributed to all students in the first to seventh semester. The results showed that: 1) the age of the majority of respondents was 21 years with a percentage (28.40%), and the lowest age was 23 years with a percentage (2.30%), 2) the sex was found by males 13 respondents with a percentage (14.80%), there were 75 respondents with a percentage of women (85.20%). 3) most respondents are semester 7 with a percentage (53.40%), and the least is semester 5 with a percentage (5.70%) 4) 4) satisfaction based on the aspect of belief in general has a very good category with a value (90.10 %), satisfaction based on aspects Empathy in general has good categories with value (82.50%), satisfaction based on aspects Trust generally has good categories with value (80.70%), satisfaction based on aspects of Responsiveness in general has good categories with value (80.30% %), satisfaction based on the aspect of Realization in general has a good category with a value (77.10%), so it can be concluded that the quality of Academic services in the Faculty of Health Sciences Nursing Study Program University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta get good results.
