Abstract

This study aims to determine the professionalism of teachers in learning mathematics related to the implementation of the 2013 curriculum in SMP Negeri 1 Ampel. Results of this research show that: (1) SMP Negeri 1 Ampel has implemented the 2013 Curriculum well in terms of an active, creative and fun learning process with a scientific approach. (2) The professionalism of mathematics subject teachers in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum can be seen from the ability of teachers in the four aspects of competency that must be possessed, namely (a) Pedagogical competence, (b) Personality competence, (c) Social competence, (d) Professional competence, The conclusion based on the results of the study shows that mathematics subject teachers have implemented the 2013 curriculum well and includes professional teachers. Although there is 1 teacher who is not yet professional because he has not mastered some of the indicators contained in pedagogical competence and professional competency.
