Abstract
The monotonous mathematics learning causes students bored and hate math lessons. This research aims to determine influence of the CTL strategy, Problem Posing, and the activity level of studenton mathematics learning outcomes. This method uses a quantitative approach, with quasi-experimental design. Sample of the research were X-MIPA 1 students, next as the experimental class and X-MIPA 2, as the control class. The experiment class uses the CTL strategy and the control class using the problem posing strategy. Sampling techniques use a proportional random sampling. Variables were CTL strategy, Problem Posing, and level of students activity, and mathematics learning outcomes. Test hypotheses uses Anava. Based on the known hypothesis analysis: 1) There were had impacted of CTL strategy, and Problem Posing on the mathematics learning outcomes; 2) There were had impacted of activity level on mathematics learning outcomes; and 3) There were had impacted interactions CTL strategy, Problem Posing, and activity level on mathematics learning outcomes. Based on the results: 1) The principal follow up the application CTL method and problem posing to increasing spirit of the learning process. 2) The implementation CTL method and problem posing strategy, the learning process will be more interesting, fun, and students will be more active. 3) To further researchers, can be to fullest in improving problem solving skills and mathematics learning outcomes.
