Abstract

This study aims to describe the increase professionalism teacher in economic learning and to describe the increase learning outcomes through Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) method to the students of class X IPS 3 SMA Negeri 1 Sumberlawang. This type of research is a classroom action research conducted in two stages of the cycle. The subjects in this study were the teacher and the students of class X IPS 3 SMA Negeri 1 Sumberlawang, the totaling were 31 students. Data collection methods used were observations, tests, field notes, and documents.. The results showed that professionalism teacher and student economic learning outcomes have increased. Before taking action, the complete economic learning outcomes of students amounted to 38.71%, in the first cycle the complete economic learning outcomes of students increased to 45.16%, in the second cycle economic learning outcomes increased to 80.64%. Based on the research data, it can be concluded that the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) learning method can improve teacher professionalism and economic learning outcomes to the students of class X IPS 3 SMA Negeri 1 Sumberlawang.
