Abstract

The research goal are described: (1) the influence of the use of social media on the entrepreneurial interest of accounting students of SMK Negeri 4 Klaten. (2) the influence of motivation on entrepreneurial interest in accounting students of SMK Negeri 4 Klaten. (3) the influence of the use of social media and motivation on entrepreneurial interest in accounting students of SMK Negeri 4 Klaten. The research uses quantitative methods designed census. The population of all students of class X Accounting SMK Negeri 4 Klaten was 107 students. Data collection techniques on the use of questionnaire and documentation. The technique of the data analysis of multiple regression. The results of the analysis regression there have been instances of the equation of the regression line is: Y = 40,029 + 0,293 X1 + 0,199 X2. The equation explains that the use of social media and motivation affects the interest in entrepreneurship. The analysis and discussion obtained the conclusion that: (1) the use of social media has a positive and significant effect on the entrepreneurial interest of accounting students at SMK Negeri 4 Klaten. In the test obtained tcount > ttable = 6,370 > 1,982 and the probability value < 0,05, is 0,000. (2) motivation has a positive and significant effect on the entrepreneurial interest of accounting students of SMK Negeri 4 Klaten. In the test obtained tcount > ttable = 3,004 > 1,982 and the probability value < 0,05 is 0,003. (3) the use of social media and motivation has a positive and significant effect on the entrepreneurial interest of accounting students of SMK Negeri 4 Klaten. In the results of the test of significance of multiple linear regression obtained Fcount > Ftable, which is 25,800 > 3,08 and a significant probability value <0,05, which is 0,000. The coefficient of determination (R2) is 0,332 or 33,2% while the remaining 66,8% the rest influenced other variables that not be researched.
