Abstract

Plumbon Village is a village located in Tawangmangu District, Karanganyar Regency which has a variety of local potential that can be developed. One of the most popular tours among millennials is Rumah Atsiri Indonesia, which is education-based nature tourism. Based on the results of discussions from the management of the Rumah Atsiri Indonesia and the manager of Plumbon Village, they plan to develop Plumbon Village into an education and community developmen based tourism village. However, this has yet to materialize because of several debates relating to community openness and land contribution. This issue was raised as the basis of village development planning as an education-based tourism village and community development utilizing local potential. The concept of Plumbon Tourism Village is an educational tourism concept that provides knowledge about various local potentials here relating to the essential plants that characterize Plumbon Village. Visitors will be invited to do activities with the community in accordance with the guidelines of the local community. The Center for the Management of activities at the Rumah Atsiri Indonesia, with its development center located in the treasury of Plumbon Village. The tourist area is designed with various facilities that make it easy for tourists to do activities. Unspoiled natural conditions and the potential of Plumbon Village and the activities that have taken place at the Rumah Atsiri Indonesia are the main attractions for these tours.
