Abstract
This research is aimed to analyze the structural elements of the Twilight movie such as character and characterization, plot, point of view, style and theme based on individual psychological perspective and analyzes the struggle for love of Isabella Swan reflected in Catherine Hardwicke’s Twilight Movie. This research is a qualitative research. The data are taken from document analysis. The object of the study is the striving for superiority of Bella, the major character of the Twilight movie. The result of study shows that there is a close relationship between Twilight movie and an individual psychology, particularly in human striving for superiority. Another key theme in the series is that of immortality. Bella (the major character) learns that it is possible for her to become immortal, she sets her sights on this goal. While Edward tries to downplay the value of living indefinitely, for four books this becomes the key theme that drives the story forward, until Bella's eventual transformation into an immortal, non-aging vampire. Her strive to stay together with Edward is a positive purposes, but to be a vampire and live with sucking the animals blood is one of a craziest thing. The struggle and the inferiority of Bella make her a good girl and a lot of friends. She is afraid if she looses all of her memories with her family (her mom, her dad and also her old place where they lived). Bella is also afraid if she looses her love Edward, until she wants to be vampire supposed she always lives with Edward. So she must defeat it, Bella must have a large struggle and to be superior. Bella must have a lot of attention and care to his father, if she wants to make her father happy. If Bella wants to keep together with Edward, she must have a good positive thinking; she must not push Edward with a lot of curiosity, because Edward is a vampire with the mood that is always changing
