Abstract

Future orientation is a way of looking at someone in their portrayal of themselves in the future. The study was conducted at the Wanodyatama Women's Social Services Institution in Surakarta, Central Java. This type of research is an experimental quantitative study using Pretest-posttest Control Group Design with the characteristics of research subjects namely, beneficiaries, rehabilitation participants at PPSW. The results of the Wilcoxon T-Test as shown in the table above are Z values of -4,785 with a (p) 2-tailed probability of 0,000 (p <0.05). Wilcoxon T-Test test results are obtained, the test decision is rejected. This means that there is a pretest-posttest influence on the experimental group, but with a declining score after being given career counseling on future orientation.
