Abstract
Subjective well-being is a core component of a good life (good of life). In life not everyone easily feels happiness, especially for people who have many demands, roles or tasks, for example school students. The existence of academic and social demands makes students' responsibilities increase, coupled with monotonous routines, and the limited time to play makes some school students bored, bored, and feel burdened. The dominance of negative emotion experiences compared to positive emotion experiences and their lack of satisfaction with life shows that students have a low tendency for subjective well-being. One of the businesses suspected of being able to realize and improve subjective well-being is social support. This study aims to determine the relationship between social support and subjective well-being in students at Saverius High School. The hypothesis is proposed that there is a positive relationship between social support and Subjective Well-Being in students at Saverius High School. The subjects of this study were 60 students of Saverius Sragen High School class X, XI and XII. Sampling uses Stratified random sampling, the method of data collection uses a scale and questionnaire that is a scale of social support and subjective well-being. The data analysis method uses product moment analysis techniques. The results showed that there was a significant positive relationship between social support and subjective well-being in Saverius Karangmalang Sragen High School students, indicated by a value of 0.329 and a significance of 0.005 (p <0.05); the level of social support of Saverius Karangmalang Sragen High School students is high as indicated by the results of calculations which resulted in an empirical average (RE) of 75.43 and a hypothetical mean (RH) of 66.00; and the level of subjective well-being high school students of Saverius Karangmalang Sragen is being shown from the calculation results that produce an empirical average (RE) of 76.12 and a hypothetical average (RH) of 63.00. The effective contribution of social support variables contributed 10.8% to Subjective Well-Being at Saverius High School. The conclusion of this study is the level of social support affects subjective well-being at Saverius Karangmalang High School. The higher the level of social support, the higher the subjective well-being.
