Abstract
This study began by looking at the results of the achievements of students in MTs Negeri Surakarta 1, found 48% of students in class VIII Tahfidz Program were able to achieve rote targets. This is a serious problem if left unchecked to be able to inherit the generation underneath. A good way to overcome this is to provide comfort in memorizing the Qur'an. The formulation of the problem of this research is How is the Learning Process using the Talaqqi Method in improving the ability to memorize Al-Qur'an of the eighth grade students of the Tahfidz Program in MTs Negeri Surakarta 1? What is the Effective Talaqqi Method in improving the ability to memorize Al-Qur'an of the eighth grade students of the Tahfidz Program in MTs Negeri 1 Surakarta? What are the Supporting and Inhibiting Factors of the Talaqqi Method in improving the ability to memorize Al-Qur'an of the eighth grade students of the Tahfidz Program at MTs Surakarta 1? This study aims to describe the effectiveness of the Talaqqi method in improving the ability to memorize the Koran of Class VIII students in the Tahfidz Program and to identify the supporting factors and inhibitors of the Talaqqi method in improving the ability to memorize the Koran of Grade VIII Tahfidz students. This research is a type of qualitative research with field research methods. Data collection techniques are done by observation, interviews, and documentation. The subject of the study was directed at the eighth grade students of the Tahfidz Program and the Tahfidz supporting teacher and the Tahfidz program supporting teacher at the MTs Negeri Surakarta 1. Data analysis conducted from the results of observations, interviews, and documentation can be concluded with the Talaqqi Method uneffectively used in improving Al-Qur'an learning grade VIII Tahfidz Program. Then, Proven by the steps of the learning process applied by the teacher, adequate infrastructure of the teacher and evaluation in the form of evaluation. With a total of 11 out of 24 students in one class who managed to reach the target memorization. The supporting and inhibiting factors in applying the talaqqi method are the ideal age, time management, and place to memorize the Qur'an. while the inhibiting factor does not always follow, repeat, and make the memorization of the Qur'an, more attention to world affairs. Many sins and immoralities and Memorize many verses in a short time and move to the next verse before mastering well.
