Abstract

The front guard of a study program who are used to encourage them to always look forward while attracting their younger siblings to participate and feel their succes. Alumni are a database for getting feedback on the development of study programs through curriculum development, learning to input on the existing education system (Angesti, 2009). This study aims to determine the characteristics of graduate users, know the characteristics of alumni and know the description of graduate user satisfaction with the alumni performance of nursing study programs at Muhammadiyah University, Surakarta. This research uses descriptive quantitative research methods. Respondents in this study were users of graduates of the FMS UMS Nursing Profession Program year XV-XVIII with a population of 267 alumni. Determination of research subjects by purposive sampling and obtained a sample of 68 alumni. Data was collected using a questionnaire in the form of Google distributed to graduate users. The results of this study found that the characteristics of the most graduates with the duration of contact with alumni for> 0-1 years and the least number of respondents with a long contact with alumni> 3-4 years. While the number of respondents (users of graduates) is higher than men. Characteristics of alumni who work in state agencies have more numbers than alumni who work in private institutions. whereas the sex of female alumni is more numerous than male alumni. The highest number of alumni is Nurse XVII while the smallest number of alumni is XVII. Description of graduate user satisfaction with the alumni performance of the Nursing Study Program at the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta, the highest percentage was the answer that was quite satisfied, namely on the sub-variables of integrity, expertise based on science, English language skills, communication, teamwork and self-development. While the percentage of the smallest answers is the answer that is very satisfied, namely the sub-variable integrity, expertise based on the field of science, the ability to recognize information technology facilities and teamwork
