Abstract

Budi Kahono 2020. "Management of Independent Character and Cooperation in Learning in SD Negeri 03 Karanglo Tawangmangu". Masters in Educational Administration. Muhammadiyah Surakarta University. Supervisor Dr. Anam Sutopo, M.Hum. ABSTRACT This research is closely related to the morals and character of students. In the context of concerns about the behavior or character of children today who have experienced irregularities and in order to maintain the existence and recognition of the wider community of schools must continue to innovate in order to accelerate the progress of education. The purpose of this study is to: 1). To find out the causes of the need for independent character and cooperation of children in the learning process at SDN 03 Karanglo, 2). To identify the role of independent character and cooperation in learning at SDN 03 Karanglo, 3). To describe the independent character management model and cooperation in learning at SDN 03 Karanglo, and 4). To find out the impact of independent character and cooperation in learning for schools and the future of SDN 03 Karanglo alumni students. The type of this research is qualitative research, using ethnographic design, the research subject is SD Negeri 03 Karanglo Tawangmangu. Sources of data in this study are events, informants or resource persons, and documents or archives. The way to dig data in this research is by observation, interview, and note taking technique. The data collected was analyzed using an interactive analysis model. The results showed that: 1). The need for independent character and cooperation of children in the learning process at SD Negeri 03 Karanglo due to researchers 'concerns regarding the difficulty of finding independent students in solving their own students' needs and the lack of cooperation between students in activities with nuances of mutual cooperation, 2). There are three roles of independent character and cooperation in learning at SD Negeri 03 Karanglo, namely a). Students will be more calm and steady in each step of their actions. b). Schools will be increasingly quality and attractive to the wider community. c). We will produce a generation of nation leaders who are personally strong to be respected by other nations, 3). The model of independent character management and cooperation in learning developed at SD Negeri 03 Karanglo is a). starting from the example of the principal and teachers to always be independent and cooperate, b). provide direction and motivation to students both in the classroom and outside the classroom, c). supervision and monitoring at all times of the child's behavior, d). conduct joint evaluations with parents of their daily children's behavior. 4). The impact of independent character and cooperation for schools and the future of students of SD Negeri 03 Karanglo alumni is a). schools will be increasingly in demand by the community because they have positive special characteristics, b). the quality of schools both in terms of academic and non-academic will increasingly develop, c). we are proud of being able to prepare a generation of people who are smart, skilled, and strong personally.
