Abstract

This research was conducted at the Health Analyst Laboratoty at Donohudan Health Vocational School, aims to describe: 1) planning for procurement of laboratory equipment and materials; 2) Use of laboratory equipment and materials; 3) Maintenance and storage of laboratory equipment and materials. This is descriptive qualitative with a phenomenological qualitative design. Techniques of collecting data through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. This study uses a triangulation data sources provided by the school principal, deputy head ot the tools division, laboratory manager, head of health analyst laboratorium, subject teachers and students. The analysis technique uses descriptive aualitative data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion or verification. The results of this study are; 1) Procurement of equipment and supporting materials is not enough, but there is BOS funding, procurement can increase. When procuring there are five SOP and the rules. Inventory has been done well by laboratory managers and teachers. 2) The use of tools and materials 2 has been going well from the collaboration of laboratories, teachers, and students start from preparation, use of connections, and the appropriateness of the number laboratories, teachers, and laboratory managers. 3) Maintenance of tools and materials has been done routinely and periodically to minimize damage. Storage is also in accordance with each tool and material in accordance with the function, use and security.
