Abstract
The purpose of this study is to test and analyze: (1) the effect of Problem Based Learning based on Numbered Head Together, Problem Based Learning on mathematics learning outcomes, (2) the effect of mathematical communication on mathematics learning outcomes, (3) the interaction between learning models and students' mathematics communication towards mathematics learning outcomes. This type of research is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design. The sampling technique is cluster random sampling. The population in this study were all eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Kartasura in 2019/2020. The research sample consisted of three classes. Methods of data collection using tests and documentation. Data were analyzed using two-way analysis of variance with different cell where previously the normality test was done using the Lilliefors method and the homogeneity test used the Bartlett method. The results of the study with a significance level of 5%, (1) there is an influence of learning models on mathematics learning outcomes, (2) there is an influence of mathematical communication on mathematics learning outcomes, (3) there is no interaction between learning models and mathematical communication on mathematics learning outcomes.
