Abstract

Swing device lies in between upperstructure dan undercarriage, swing device turn the pressure from the main pumpinto a turn, where the turn will be reduced to produce great torque to perform swing perform. The goal was to do this research that happened on swing system. From an examination the first step we should take is to diagnose, because it’s an identity about something, processes in finding the underlying cause of problem them by checking the volume of the oil, oil pressure, and swing speed on the turn. The results of the analysis of the causes of damage to the swing system have the main factor, namely, bad lubrication in the form of using less grease and contaminated grease conditions. Another factor is also caused by operator or mechanical errors in improper operation of tools and maintenance. The corrective step is to replace the swing circle component. Preventive steps taken so that swing circle has a long live time is to do a daily check thoroughly before the unit operates and preventive maintenance on a regular basis.
