Abstract
The automatic parking system is a parking system needed for safety and ease in parking a vehicle. With advances in technology, it is able to make it easier for motorists to park their vehicles without reducing the level of safety. The parking system applied at the UMS Faculty of Engineering parking lot is still conventional (manual recording and checking). Arduino and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is a technology used in the manufacture of automatic parking systems, the parking system currently in use still uses a manual / conventional parking system (recording, manual checking) which is considered less effective. This automatic parking system is equipped with supporting components such as: ultrasonic sensors, camera modules, servo motors, RFID readers, Real Time Clock, and Arduino Mega. In this study aims to create an automatic parking system using Arduino and RFID. The results of this research are the making of a prototype of an automated parking system.
