Abstract

This study aims to determine the discipline, implementation and function of counseling guidance in shaping the discipline of students at SD Negeri Gabus 4 academic year 2018/2019. Type of qualitative research with a phenomenological design. Data collection uses interviews, observation and documentation. This research data is primary and secondary data processed using data analysis techniques through four stages namely: data reduction, data display, data verification and data conclusions. The results showed that the discipline of students in SD Negeri Gabus 4 was quite good as evidenced by the small number of disciplinary violations committed by students, and the role of the guidance counseling teacher still needed improvement. The implementation of counseling guidance in forming discipline to students is group counseling and individual counseling, counseling is given in accordance with the disciplinary problems faced by students.
