Abstract

One of the learning problems is monotonous learning so that students lack focus, feel bored quickly and are less interested in the material delivered by the teacher. To overcome these problems, an application was developed to assist teachers in learning. This research was conducted on computer assembly material at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Klaten Utara. This android based application uses the Mit App Inventor software. This interactive digital module is worthy of being reviewed by media experts, material experts and 26 pilot students in the field. This research belongs to the type of research and development or Research and Development (R&D). the results obtained from this study are: 1) The average score of the media expert is 83 (acceptable); 2) The average score of material experts is 85 (acceptable); and 3) The average results of student assessments are in the acceptable category. from this research it can be concluded that the development of interactive digital modules is feasible and effective for use in computer assembly material.
