Abstract

The purpose of this study is (1) the effect of the role of education on entrepreneurship motivation, (2) the influence of the family environment on entrepreneurship motivation and (3) to determine the effect of the role of education and family environment together on entrepreneurship motivation. The type of associative quantitative research, the population is accounting students of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta class of 2015 who took 92 entrepreneurship practice courses. The research sample of 72 students The sampling technique used was proportional random sampling in the lottery method. The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression test, t test, F test and the coefficient of determination (R2). The results of the t test data analysis showed that the variable Educational Role was 2.358 while the t table was 1.995, then Ho was rejected so there was a significant influence between the Role of Education on Individual Entrepreneurial Motivation. Family Environment Variable is 5,845 while the table is 1,995, then Ho is rejected so there is a significant influence between Family Environment on Individual Entrepreneur Motivation. F test analysis results obtained Fcount = 92.954> Ftable = 3.081, then Ho is rejected so that together there is a significant influence on the Role of Education (X1) and Family Environment (X2) on Entrepreneur Motivation. The results of the analysis of the coefficient of determination (R2) show the calculated value R2 = 0.729, this can be interpreted that 72.9% change / variation in Y (Entrepreneurial Motivation) due to changes / variations in variable X (Role of Education and Family Environment) while 27.1 The remaining% is due to changes in other variables not included in the study. The results of the relative contribution of the calculation of SR Educational Role (X1) by 27% and Family Environment (X2) by 73%. While the effective contribution of SE to the Role of Education (X1) was 19.71% and the Family Environment (X2) was 53.18% and the effective contribution to the Role of Education and the Family Environment was 72.9%.
