Abstract

Cylinder hydraulic functions to move work equipment (attachment). The working principle is to change hydraulic power to mechanical power. This analysis aims to determine the types of damage, the causes of damage, to know the steps to repair the XGMA822EL hydraulic excavator cylinder. The examination procedure is carried out by performing a performance test consisting of a pressure test on the hydroulic system. The inspection is also done visually on the hydroulic hose, filter hydraulic, hydraulic pump, control valve, hydraulic cylinder. The analysis of the damage to the hydraulic cylinder is then used using a fishbone diagram to analyze the causes of damage to the hydraulic cylinder. The results of analysis of damage to the hydraulic cylinder, there was damage to the seal, piston, piston rod caused by mechanics did not do the daily check properly so it is not known that there are broken piston and piston. Repair steps are taken by replacing damaged components and cleaning all components from dirt. Preventive action by running a daily check and preventive maintenance procedure.
