Abstract
This study aims to examine: (1) the effect of the Discovery Learning model of learning assited with concept maps on mathematics learning outcomes, (2) the effect of students’ mathematical creativity on mathematics learning outcomes, (3) the interaction between Discovery Learning models assisted with concept maps and mathematical creativity on student mathematics learning outcomes. This research uses quasi-experimental design that is with analisis variance of two paths with unequal cells. The population in this study was selected using the Random Sampling Cluster technique which consisted of classes VIII C and VIII D. The technique of data collection was carried out using the learning outcomes test, creativity test and documentation. The instrument validity tes was using the Cronbach Alpha formula. Based on the results of htid study it can be concluded that : (1) there is an effect of the Discovery Learning model assited with concept maps on mathematics learning outcomes, (2) there is an effect of students’ mathematical creativity on mathematics learning outcomes, (3) there is no interaction between the Discovery Learning models assited learning concept maps with mathematical creativity in the high,medium, and low categories of student mathematics learning outcomes.
