Abstract

This research aims to determine the implementation and constraints as well as efforts to overcome the pedagogical competence constraints of teachers in the implementation of learning subjects in service company accounting at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Klaten Utara. This research is a qualitative research with ethnographic approach. The subjects of this study were accounting service company teachers, principals and students. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The validity of the data is done using triangulation of sources and methods. The data analysis stage uses an interactive model which include data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the teacher always improves and enhances his competency. The teacher always tries to develop curriculum and syllabus, because curriculum and syllabus may be developed but cannot be reduced. The teacher always designs learning activities early in the new school year or early learning activities. The teacher organizes dialogic and educational learning that is able to shape the personality, mentality, and positive attitudes of students. The teacher is able to understand the characteristics of students, by approaching and helping the difficulties faced by students. The teacher utilizes information and communication technology in the form of Microsoft Power Point to support learning. The teacher conducts an evaluation to find out students' understanding of the material delivered by the instructor. The teacher facilitates the development of students to actualize the potential of the students. But there are obstacles in the form of a lack of understanding of the child about the material the teacher is conveying and the teacher's inactivity. The teacher's action is to approach the child, as well as to minimize teacher inactivity by sharing information with outsiders to add to the experience.
