Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine: (1) the effect of gender on professional competency learners in mini bank. (2) the effect of social environment on professional competency learners in mini bank. (3) the effect of gender and social environment on professional competency learners in mini bank. This type of research is quantitative associative and this research is experimental using a type of survey design. Survey design is a study that takes a sample and population using a questionnaire or questionnaire as a primary data collection tool. The population in this research were students of accounting class XI SMK N 1 Sukoharjo which based on the data obtained amounted to 108 rounded up to 110 students with an error rate of 5%, according to Isaac and Michael tabel the sample taken was 84 students. Based on the results of data analysis, the multiple regression equation shows Y=10,755 + 0,239X1 + 0,742X2. The equation shows that professional competency students affected by gender and a social environment. The conclusions drawn are: 1) the gender not affects of professional competency students in the mini bank. It is based on multiple regression analysis (t test) it is known that tcount=0,121<ttable =1,99 with a relative contribution of 0,19% and an effective contribution of 0,12%. 2) social environment affects of professional competency students in the mini bank. It is based on the multiple regression analysis (t test) it is known that tcount= 11,280<ttable =1,99 with a relative contribution of 99,81% and an effective contribution of 61,78%. 3) the gender and social environment affects of professional competency students in the mini bank. It is based on the analysis of multiple linear regression variants (F test) it is known that the value of Fcount ˃ F table is 65,815 ˃ 3.96. The coefficient of determination (R¬2) was 61,9% and the remaining 31,8% was influenced by other variables.
