Abstract
This study aims to improve language skills in group B in RA Masyitoh 2 Sine Sragen Regency in 2018/2019 school year through role playing. Subjects in the study were group B students in RA Masyitoh 2 Sine Sragen Regency in the academic year 2018/2019. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) carried out two cycles, each cycle consisting of 2x meetings. The research procedure of each cycle consists of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. Data obtained using the method of observation, interviews, documentation, and field notes. Based on the results of the Classroom Action Research that children's language skills have increased according to the indicators of success that have been determined based on the assessment aspects listed on the research instrument. The results of observations about children's development are children's language abilities are still less on average 45.68%, and these children's abilities are still below the specified indicators of success targets. Observation results of the first cycle of an average of 63.24% of children have developed according to expectations (BSH) and have started to show an increase and are in the criteria to be quite increased. The results of observations in the second cycle of an average of 81.55% of children Very Well Developed (BSB) are already in very good criteria based on the indicators of success that have been determined. Conclusion: the success of the research in the second cycle was able to achieve the target as determined in the research that is playing a role able to improve the language skills of children in group B RA Masyitoh 2 Sine Sragen Regency 2018/2019 Academic Year
