Abstract
The objectives of this study include (1) planning the implementation of efferent stance and aesthetic stance strategies in learning poetry reading skills of class X students, (2) Describing the implementation of efferent stance and aesthetic stance strategies in learning poetry reading skills of class X students, (3) Describing obstacles experienced in implementing efferent stance and aesthetic stance strategies in learning poetry reading skills of class X students (4) Describe solutions to overcome obstacles in implementing efferent stance and aesthetic stance strategies in learning poetry reading skills for class X students. The type of research used in this study is descriptive qualitative, with the research strategy used is the embedded case study type. The data obtained are qualitative data on class X student learning understanding obtained from student activities and teacher activities in teaching and learning activities. Data collection is done by interview, observation, and document analysis. Data analysis technique in this research is interactive analysis. Data validation technique is triangulation of data sources. The results of this study are: (1) Planning the implementation of efferent stance and aesthetic stance strategies in learning high school students' reading skills, by making a lesson implementation plan (RPP) for class X at KD 3.16 and 4.16, (2) Implementation of efferent stance and aesthetic stance strategies in poetry reading skills, by paying attention to aspects of poetry reading skills and understanding poetry content, (3) Constraints experienced when implementing efferent stance and aesthetic stance strategies from teachers, students and infrastructure, (4) Solutions in dealing with obstacles in implementing efferent strategies stance and aesthetic stance both from teachers, students and infrastructure
