Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine: (1) the effect of learning independence on learning creativity. (2) the effect of learning discipline on learning creativity (3) the effect of learning independence and learning discipline on learning creativity. the influence of independence and discipline of student learning on student learning creativity FKIP University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta Education Force 2016. This type of research is quantitative associative and this research is experimental using a type of survey design. Survey design is a study that takes a sample and population using a questionnaire or questionnaire as a primary data collection tool. The population in this study was the 2016 Accounting Education student of Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta which based on the data obtained amounted to 333 rounded up to 340 students with an error rate of 5%, according to Isaac and Michael tabrl the sample taken was 172 students. Based on the results of data analysis, the multiple regression equation shows Y = 13.039 + 0.478X1 + 0.209X2. These equations show that learning creativity is influenced by learning independence and learning discipline. The conclusions drawn are: 1) learning independence affects learning creativity. It is based on multiple regression analysis (t test) it is known that tcount = 6.667˃table = 2.605 with a relative contribution of 78.7% and an effective contribution of 23%. 2) learning discipline affects learning creativity. It is based on the multiple regression analysis (t test) it is known that tcount = 2.798˃ table = 2.605 with a relative contribution of 21.3% and an effective contribution of 6.2%. 3) learning independence and learning discipline affect learning creativity. It is based on the analysis of multiple linear regression variants (F test) it is known that the value of Fcount ˃ F table is 34.90 ˃ 3.90. The coefficient of determination (R 22) was 29.2 and the remaining 70.8 was influenced by other variables.
