Abstract
Speech act is divided into 3, locutionary acts, illokutionary acts, and perlokutionary acts. The research purpose is describe kinds illocutionary acts in Dua Sisi talkshow in TV ONE episode “Apa yang Terjadi pada Demo Mahasiswa”. This research method uses descriptive qualitative. The object of research is illocutionary acts. The source of the data in this study is the video shows in Dua Sisi talkshow in TV ONE episode “Apa yang Terjadi pada Demo Mahasiswa”. Colecting data technic is use in this research is see and record. The findings of the research are 78 kinds illocutionary consists of directive speech acts (18 speech), expressive speech acts (11 speech), representative speech acts (44 speech), commissive speech acts (2 speech), and declarative speech acts (3 speech). (a) Directive: recommend (10 speech), invite (5 speech), advise (1 speech), ask (1 speech), tell (1 speech). (b) Expressive: thank you (4 speech), critics (2 speech), disappointed (1 speech), sorry (1 speech), commend (1 speech), assertive (1 speech), and angry (1 speech). (c) representative: deny (11 speech), suspect (10 speech), maintain (7 speech), report (5 speech), stated (4 speech), describe (4 speech), mention (2 speech), and admit (1 speech). (d) Commissive: propose (2 speech). (e) Declarative: declarative (2 speech), and new conditions (1 speech).
