Abstract

The study aims to describe: 1) The form of implementation of character planting of student responsibility in learning Theme 8 Sub-theme 2 Class IV. 2) Obstacles and supporting factors in planting character of student responsibility in learning Theme 8 Sub-theme 2 Class IV. 3) Solution to obstacles in implementing character planting of students' responsibilities in learning Theme 8 Sub-theme 2 Class IV. This type of research is qualitative research, with phenomenological design. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, documentation. Data analysis in this study used an interactive model. The data validity technique uses triangulation techniques and source triangulation. The results of this study are: 1) The implementation of character planting of student responsibility is done by habituating the rules of activities carried out by students. 2) Factors supporting the planting of character responsibilities of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Klampok are some of the guardians of fourth grade students who strongly support the program of planting character responsibilities carried out in schools, especially in class IV. Obstacles in planting character of student responsibility are lack of communication from the school and guardians of students. 3) Conducting socialization of school programs regarding planting character of student responsibility to parents, especially parents of class IV. Providing good advice and example to students.
